Jody Maier is a seasoned legal marketing and business development executive and plays an important role in Knapp Marketing’s client project management. Jody brings her 25-year background in leading small, mid-sized and large law firms from zero to 60 in terms of marketing communications.
She is a strategist, manager, and roll up your sleeves professional, and views each project from both a 30,000-foot view to the ground floor. At the end of the day, her joy is amplified by each client’s success.
Jody’s extensive background includes regional and national marketing and public relations strategies, business development coaching and training, cross-selling campaigns, practice group launches and plans, recruitment campaigns, lateral integrations, brand management, events design and management, social media, and marketing infrastructure. She has been a Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for large and mid-sized firms with multiple offices in New York City, South Florida and Washington, DC.
Jody has been a frequent speaker on marketing and business development topics, and was formerly the Programs Chairman for the Executive Council of New York for 14 years. She received her B.S. degree from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, where she continues to mentor young graduates in marketing careers.
Jody is an avid runner and yoga enthusiast. She ran the NYC Marathon twice and is a certified neuro linguistic programming coach and 500-hour RYT vinyasa yoga teacher.
